An Interactive Construction Career Experience
At the Construction Futures Centre, learning happens by doing.
Students will step inside a career in construction and explore pathways in the industry.
During their visit, they will enjoy a mix of practical activities, arcade-style games and virtual reality simulators that bring the industry to life in a way a classroom never could.
Our engaging, educational and facilitator-led excursion experience showcases the variety of construction jobs available and encourages students to discover if a career in construction is the right fit for them.
The Construction Futures Centre offers:

Take advantage of our bus subsidies
We are piloting a bus subsidy program to help more high schools access the Construction Futures Centre.
Schools with an ICSEA score of 1,000 or below can claim the subsidy twice per year, receiving up to $600 per excursion for metro schools and $1,000 for regional schools.
The claiming process is outlined below. Eligible schools will automatically receive an email with full details after submitting a booking.
- Book your Construction Futures Centre (CFC) Excursion
- If your school has an ICSEA of 1,000 or less, the CFC will email you to fill in and submit a Vendor Maintenance Form (this will reduce delays when submitting an invoice to CTF)
- Book and hire your bus as you would normally.
- After you have attended the CFC Excursion and paid for your bus, send an invoice from the school attaching a copy of the bus hire tax invoice/receipt (please ensure the date for bus hire matches your excursion date) to CTF for reimbursement to cfc@ctf.wa.gov.au
- CTF will pay via EFT in 20 days.
